1 Time Initiation:

Fee based on geographic location. California is $3,000.00 Kentucky was $1,200.00

Base Dues:

Members are required to pay $231.96 annually, which is split into two payments (approximately $115.98 every six months).

Work Dues:

In addition to the base dues, members pay work dues at a rate of 1.575% of earnings from SAG-AFTRA-covered work, capped at a maximum amount of $750,000 in earnings per year.

SAG Eligible Work:

The talent decides what % they want to put towards SAG contributions.

20-80% of total contract earnings.  It cannot be less or more of the total compensation.

Contracts:

“SAG Waiver”  - used if the agency is signed up, and will send the talents contributions directly

“SAG Agreement” - when you are submitting independently, contracting agency is not enrolled

Health Plan Thresholds:

• Plan 1 -  $27,000 in earnings each year.
• $125.00 per month for an individual
• $747.00 a quarter for a family of 4

Pension Plan Contributions:

• For pension benefits, the updated earnings requirement for a qualifying year is around $20,000. This is the minimum amount you need to earn from SAG-AFTRA-covered work to count that year towards your pension benefits.
